Petanque England Board
Petanque England relies entirely on our dedicated volunteers around the country.
We have no paid staff and our volunteers run all aspects of the National Governing Body, from Board Members to umpires and coaches, managing competitions, finance, membership, social media and the technical systems that we rely on to support all of these.
When you join PE as a volunteer you become part of the team that supports all Petanque in England and enables us to continue as the Sport England recognised National Governing Body for our sport.

Position: Veterans Lead – Pétanque England
Are you a skilled organiser with a passion for driving sporting excellence? Pétanque England is looking for a dynamic individual to lead our National Veterans Team. This non-playing, administrative role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of veterans’ involvement in Pétanque across the nation.
Role Overview:
- Lead the National Veterans Team to success
- Organise and coordinate events and work closely with the Chair of Events regarding the veterans’ qualification tournament
- Provide strategic input and support to Pétanque England’s representation at national and international levels
Key Skills:
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Passion for sports and veterans’ engagement in Pétanque
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and teams
