Two of our juniors entered the PE Titles Championships on the Isle of Wight at the weekend and did very well.
Matthew & Alex were the only juniors in the men’s doubles and won two of their three matches in the morning qualifying for the Gold – top eight of the competitors present.
It is fair to say that the lads did not have the strongest of leagues in the morning but the 13 year old’s still had to perform and get the wins.
Quarter finals of the Gold and the lads found themselves against Ameen Miah and John Edmondson who had been unbeaten in the morning, the seniors shooting and pointing was excellent and they beat the youngsters to two points but both were complimentary of the lads performance.
Well done for reaching the Quarter finals hopefully we will see some more great performances from Matthew & Alex in the future.
