On March 15, 2025, Adur Pétanque Club hosted a fantastic Junior Training Day, led by Head Junior Coach John Edmondson and Junior Coach Lead Claire Geddes.
The goal of the session was clear: to help each junior player develop at least one new skill. With guidance from ten qualified Pétanque England coaches, the young players embraced the opportunity—asking questions, refining techniques, and focusing on their individual growth.
A total of 21 enthusiastic juniors took part in the day’s activities. The morning session saw them divided into small groups of two or three, rotating through eight skill-based stations, each designed to enhance different aspects of their game. Spending 15 minutes per station, they worked on precision, tactics, and consistency under expert supervision.
The event was a great success, highlighting the dedication of both the juniors and their coaches. A big thank you to everyone who made the day possible!
