It was a successful weekend, with well over 200 teams competing at this new venue in Ferndown.
We are grateful for the work done by PE Board Member Tom Wilson and volunteers from the nearby Parley Petanque Club, who transformed an overgrown and disused athletics stadium into a 60-piste competition terrain and organised all facilities – including food vendors – for this, one of our key annual events. Thank you and well done to everyone involved.
Many thanks to organisers John and Adrian for their tireless dedication, all our Umpires, and the PE Events Group who support these events behind-the-scenes. Thanks also to Glenn Woodward, Sam Rattue, Vince Wills and Mark Duncan for live-streaming matches on Facebook so that others could enjoy watching the games from home.
